Rosh Hashanah

Rosh Hashanah 5777- 2016

Dear Beth El Family and Friends,

As the New Year approaches, allow us to express our hopes for a year of blessing, prosperity and health to you and your entire family. May G-d grant you the fulfillment of all your prayers.

We truly hope you have been taking advantage of, and are enjoying all that our synagogue has to offer. In addition to our Minyanim, we offer a hot kiddush every Shabbat, adult education, book and movie clubs, Chanukah and Purim celebrations, community seders, Scout Shabbat, Shalom Bayis Pre- Pesach Dinner, and our latest innovation, our weekly e-newsletter.

Since our establishment in 1922, our doors have been open to everyone. We are here during your happiest times, when someone has a simcha in their family, or in a family’s hardest times, a death.

We are there for YOU, and now we need YOU to be there for us!

Beth El is need of your support. We have a dedicated team who does their utmost to meet the challenges that an 89 year old building presents. Your help is needed, and there are two ways you can be of assistance.

Firstly, if you are a recipient of this letter and not a member of Beth El, please join. Our dues are low; $150  for an individual, and $175 for a family. Dues paid now will ensure your membership through December, 2017. You will have the mitzvah and the privilege of being part of a warm and vibrant congregational family. A check with a note enclosed informing the office of your desire to become a member, along with your address, phone number, and email would be a wonderful gesture.

Secondly, If you haven’t reserved your seat for High Holiday services, please either come to the office during office hours (Mon-Fri 10AM-1PM) or on Sunday after morning minyan, 8:15AM. We have attached a copy of last year’s seating chart, to give you the opportunity to reserve those exact seats. These seats will be held for you until September 1, when they will be released. Additionally, we will start to accept AMEX, VISA, and MASTERCARD, as a way of accommodating our Beth El community. Include your email so we can send you receipts, our weekly e-newsletter, scheduling information, and contact you in case of simchas or deaths.

In merit of your good deed, may you be inscribed in the Book of Life for health, prosperity, all blessings, and a better year.

We look forward to seeing you in our synagogue, and we pray for your well being and success in 5777.

Shana Tovah!
